We need to reach out to Senators to ask them to support revenue. Contact your own Senator and the Senators listed below.
- Please call/email/fax the state senators listed below and express your concern about the urgent threat to education, community health and public safety due to budget cuts. Encourage them to vote to support revenue enhancements; bills with revenue and enhancements have been passed by the state house and are urgently needed to supplement recent cuts;
- Please be sure to encouraged state senators to show real leadership and work on budget reform going forward to avoid last-minute budget crises in the future;
- The revenue enhancements being presented are not enough; the remaining shortfall is unacceptable and will hurt our most vulnerable citizens. State senators should be encouraged to continue to work on additional revenue enhancements and not allow bills to be bottlednecked;
- Please call/email/fax state senate majority leader Mike Bishop and ask him to act promptly on revenue bills and to support and protect Michigan's citizens by assuring the prompt passage of these bills by the senate.
