Nominate Someone Special For A Spirit Of Millie Award!

On Sunday March 21, 2010 the Justice Caucus will hold the 4th Annual Millie Jeffrey Dinner at the Courtyard by Marriott in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

During the event awards will be given to special people selected by the nominations committee and the executive committee of the Justice Caucus.

If you know someone who is worthy of an award, tell us about them! We are looking for people who are living their lives in a way similar to Millie Jeffrey, championing progressive issues of civil, social, and economic justice through hard work and persistent dedication. Millie Jeffrey was a pioneer in many areas such as nondiscrimination/fairness, worker/union rights, women’s rights, and civil rights. Millie herself never ran for office but she gave courage, organized, and inspired passion in others. Tell us how your nominee does any of these.

Please send your submission via the official nominating form by January 28, 2010. Tell us as much as you know about the person you are nominating. You do not have to be a member of the Justice Caucus to nominate someone. We hope to hear from you!
